Transition to 100% fossil-free electricity completed
Nordika announces that the company has achieved its target of 100 percent fossil-free electricity across its entire property portfolio. This milestone reflects the company’s continued commitment to reducing climate impact and further strengthening sustainability performance across its assets.
The electricity supply mix comprises 32.5 percent hydropower and 67.5 percent nuclear energy, providing a stable and low-carbon energy base across the portfolio. This transition reduces the company’s electricity-related carbon footprint by approximately 90 percent. The remaining emissions reflect a full life-cycle assessment and reporting approach, incorporating embedded carbon from the construction of energy infrastructure.
